Wellbeing Coaching in East Sussex and Kent

Are you searching for a Wellbeing Coach in Eastbourne, East Sussex, Maidstone or Ashford in Kent? Kim at Art of Wellbeing has years of experience and would love to help you. She offers a 20 minute complimentary discovery phone consultation – so why not get in touch today?

Wellbeing Coaching is about objectivity, structure and empowerment, not instruction or indoctrination. A Wellbeing Coach is not a mentor, or an ‘agony aunt’ and does not become ‘personally involved with the client.’

Kim uses specialist techniques based on core psychological principles and natural intuition. You’ll be encouraged to look internally to find the tools to confidently face difficult situations and push past emotional barriers, which in turn create a healthier lifestyle.

If you aren’t close to Eastbourne, Maidstone or Ashford, Kim also offers wellbeing coaching via Skype or phone.

Some Basic Principles of Wellbeing Coaching

– It supports you in exploring your needs, motivations, desires, skills and thought processes to assist you in making real, lasting changes with your health and wellbeing.
– Specific session and long term goals are created and set by you.
– Creatively apply tools and techniques, which may include one-to-one training and simple exercises, visualisations, affirmations which enable you to achieve your personal wellbeing goals.
– It uses questions to support your own thought processes in order to identify solutions and actions.
– All goals set are achievable and time-bound.
– Your wellbeing coach, Kim, will be non-judgmental and works to ensure that you feel continued ‘unconditional positive regard’ throughout your sessions.
– A ‘touch-base’ contact in between sessions to support you.

What is different about Wellbeing Coaching?

Wellbeing Coaching incorporates all the main ideas from ‘Pure Coaching’ protocols which are based upon the ‘GROW’ model:

Goals – are set
Reality – is looked at, as well as past habits, behaviors and thought processes
Options – different ways of moving forward are explored
Wayforward – simple, specific and achievable steps to move on

Wellbeing Coaching uses the above ‘Grow Model’ but adds it ‘TH’.

Wellbeing Coaching GROWTH model is as above, but adds:

Touch base – accountability by the client by email, photos, texts etc.
Health – the ability for the coach at the end of the session to make recommendations, if appropriate for further support. Suggestions could be books to read, homework in the form of coaching exercises, listening to a CD, watching a DVD or being recommended a referral to a relevant specialist. Because you don’t know what you don’t know.

Kim has been a wellbeing coach with over 20 years of experience. It is vital that your wellbeing coach is the right match for you. This is why Kim offers a 20 minute complimentary discovery phone consultation.
